Just a few. Most only half full, or less!
I'm really interested in seeing Aerosmith's attendance records
They get posted on a regular basis if they are touring and I am sure there are some on Clive's site.
The LA show was mostly full in a 6,200 seater but I easily got a free ticket comp outside with minimal effort so we will have to wait for those figures to be reported to see how many people actually paid to get in. From the stage Brett announced that anyone taking their ticket to the next night in Irvine They have definitely fared much better than their contemporaries. _________________ My Music Blog & Gig Diary

I got an email from Live Nation about a special that they were running on the pavilion seats in West Palm Beach.
I have to work that night so it really is of no significance to me now.....
This thread is a real eye opener on the attendance numbers.
I really wanted to see Ratt much more than I wanted to see Poison!
Never had the chance to see Ratt, I did see Poison once way back in '87. _________________
As interesting as the statistics are, I usually don't put too much stock into the attendance figures...
In my opinion, it simply means that the people that are there, are the ones who really want to be there...
I can't tell you how many times I've been to those big-time, high-profile gigs seeing bands like The Police, Springsteen, U2...and you quickly find out that one quarter of the fans that are in attendance are there because it's an event...or it's the place to be seen...
I'm more impressed with the hardcore fan who drives 100 miles on a weeknight to catch their favorite band (insert name) playing in some club...
I'm not a big fan of Ratt / Poison, but I'll bet their fans leave the venue very happy...

I would be PISSED if I had paid full price for a ticket when they went on sale and then the day before the show could get FOUR tickets for the same price.
Bargain basement pricing that is for sure.
I wanted to go to this very badly, but I have to work instead. _________________

This is why I try not to pay full price for tickets the day they went on sale. When it comes to big events, with just a few exceptions, the "instant sellout" went the way of the $20 ticket. _________________ My Music Blog & Gig Diary

The problem with the attendance should mostly be blammed on Poison doing a carbon copy of every single show every year since 99. _________________ The guys in the band probably don't read these boards.

Vains of Jenna was a great opening band. I was really disappointed with RATT. However, Poison kicked a**. Here are some pix.

I love Poison. I saw them last year with Cinderella and they rocked!
But I'm sorry, Poison can't tour amphitheaters every year and expect those venues to even come close to selling out. Although, they're too big for clubs. So, it's kinda hard. I think what they need to do is co-headline with another big band like Def Leppard, Motley Crue, or something. Either that or play small arenas, state fairs, and minor league ballparks or something. _________________ "We're all here, cause we're not all there. That's right."

Both Motley Crue and Def Leppard don't want to be associated with the type of genre Poison represents. They opened for KISS a few years ago. Numbers were only slightly better. They have a decent enough business model that other than a theatre/club tour, there isn't really many other options. _________________ My Music Blog & Gig Diary
