Nancy and I met at 8:30 this morning and we took off for the run. Steven arrived a bit after 11 but you could not get near him. The run took off and went to the Pavillion.

Nancy and I were lucky enough to catch him at the Pavillion and he was easily persuaded to let us take a few pics. Nancy will post those.

I took these at the starting point. Nothing great but it is all I have. Nancy has the goood pics.

I spotted Steven coming out from backstage and grabbed Nancy and we were off--after Nancy dumped a beer on Jim that is. There was a person or two with him but it wasn't a mob scene. Just me and Nancy. We approached him and asked for a pic. He said sorry but not today as if he did it for one he would have to do it for everyone. I told him Nancy came from Virginia for this and he put his hand out to her and she got the biggest hug from him. Then he comments on my Max's Kansas City shirt and I asked him if that warranted a pic and he said sure. God I love that man!
